Invisible Warrior The Protectors Series Book #11 edition by Teresa Gabelman Hot Tree Editing Paranormal Romance eBooks

I have waited a long time for Steve's story and Teresa didn't disappoint me. This book had me in tears and laughing my butt off more than once. Hands down Invisible Warrior is my favorite book in this series which is really hard to do since all of Teresa's book are awesome. I love how we get to see the serous side of Steve. Mara is sweet but strong in her own way....she has to be to go through everything that has happened to her in her life. Once fate brought them together they couldn't stay away from each other. I stayed up all night reading, once I started reading about Steve I couldn't put my kindle down. My review isn't doing this book justice, Its hard for me to put my feelings into word when I think about this book. All I do know is that I will be at some point picking this book as well as all of the others in this series up in paperback. Invisible Warrior is a most read and I cant wait for the next book to come out because Steve and Mara's story isn't over yet because there is still a threat hanging over them. Teresa keep up the good work and please sometime in the future I want to know more about little Daniel and Drew...

Invisible Warrior The Protectors Series Book #11 edition by Teresa Gabelman Hot Tree Editing Paranormal Romance eBooks Reviews

5+stars!! Unbelievable!! I have no idea how Teresa can take Steve who is the biggest goofball around (ant balls-super-farts) and make him a sexy Badass! but boy she did! The 1st chapter had me laughing so hard I think I bruised a rib!
I really think this is the best in the series now I say that with every new book but I'm 99% positive this time lol
Steve has finally come into his own! Our little boy has grown up into a might fine man!
I LOVED that all the other characters are in this one. each and every one of them have a scene.. There are laughs, fights, WTH moments, Oh hell No moments, well heck, this book has it all..
From Damon's book to Steve's there is not 1 word that I did not read!!
I can not wait for Ronan's book!!
I am sooo happy to have finally read about our Steve. I am sorry you were worried about writing his story, Teresa, but let me tell you...you did such a wonderful job! There was nothing wrong with any part of this! You kept the fun, sweet, innocent parts that made Steve, Steve, while having him grow into another badass Warrior. I relate so much to him because he and I share light hearted life views but can turn into an super protective person at the drop of a hat. The way your wrote Mira for him and with the birthmark...that was really cool. Also, the connection between little Daniel and Drew Boo.....hmmmm....it sure is going to be interesting to see where you take all of us on that journey. Thanks for handling the Leda situation like you did. That was done really well. We need to be able to keep the Warriors and Lee County Wolves connected. I am just so full of emotion now....I laughed out loud at the doctors office yesterday while reading this and got looked at kinda' funny, but I didn't give a hoot...and I cried a lot while reading this one, too. Teresa, you amaze me, girlfriend. And I mean this from the bottom of my heart. I think everyone should read your books. If they're not, they don't know what they're missing. Thank you so much for another AWESOME book about our VC Warriors. I can't wait for your next project to come out!
I love The Protectors Series. I was afraid of Steve's book because he has been such a sweet kid from book 1. I really enjoy hot sexy alpha love scenes but was worried about seeing Steve this way because of seeing him like a kid. I should of known, Teresa knows what she's doing. I really enjoyed this book. I got to watch the kid turn into a man, find is voice, his family, his confidence and his heroine. The story line keeps us busy and Steve had grown so much before that was brought up and the scene was so classy that it was natural and I didn't see the kid at that moment but the warrior so in love with his woman. We get a side story as well and a look at the next books hero and heroine. New characters are introduced which means I get to continue to enjoy my favorite series.
I admit, I was close to giving up on this series. If it hadn't been for Steve finally getting his own book, I probably wouldn't have read another story of yet another grouchy, over-protective, uber-alpha vampire warrior falling in love with a stubborn girl in denial of her own feelings. I can imagine that it's tricky staying true to the branding this series has developed, but still finding new and interesting storylines. Yet I get tired of reading the same formula over and over again. But that's where Steve's character comes into play. He is a shining example of a truly unconventional romantic lead.
I think we got introduced to this character way back in book 2 of this series. And let me tell you, this character mastered an incredible journey coming to this point. Steve started as a typical underachiever, someone who always said and did the wrong things. Someone who was mediocre at everything at best. He then turned into the punching ball of the group with the main cast being really mean to him. Rather than giving up or punching back, Steve's character developed into a goofball and became more and more endearing. By the time book 6 or 7 of the Protector series rolled along, he was seriously funny despite still getting sh*t from his colleagues. There are many things that set him apart from all the other Warriors, but one of the things is that he doesn't take himself so darn serious. He's a good sport and such a genuinely good nature who delights in making others happy even if it means poking fun at himself. He had to fight hard to come to this stage now and get his own story told, with many failures and mistakes on the way, but that's what makes this character so interesting. I think he surprised a lot of people, including Ms Gabelman. She even let him appear as a cross-over in the Lee County wolf series. Anyway, now that Steve got his own book, he had some growing up to do. I was worried, he'd evolve into one of the "same-old" warrior personality, loosing his shining, outstanding identity. But I could put my worries to rest. Ms Gabelman managed to inject some alpha tendencies into Steve's character without loosing his funny, goofy & silly essence. That's not an easy tread to wander. It was a pleasure to tag along this character's progress into what he is now.
As for the storyline it was predictable and followed well-known dramaturgic paths. The romance came too short and timing was off, especially in the second half of the book. What started as a deliciously slow build up and teased to be an epic conclusion turned luke-warm in the end and felt rushed. I don't even mean the missing sex, but the proclamation of love was so sudden, I felt cheated out of the romantic tension. (Though on a side note Steve saved the lack of impact by reacting so strongly to someone declaring her love for him. How cute was that?)

So, would I recommend "The invisible warrior"? Yes, but only if you read the previous books, as there are many cameos of previous protagonists. To fully appreciate their hilarious banter and Steve's massive evolution into this unconventional, original hero, you need to start the series from the beginning.
