The moment when the world tilts on its axis, completely changing everything. The instant when suddenly everything just falls into place. The second when a heart shatters into a million tiny pieces, only to settle back into place, complete for the first time. When an all-encompassing light surrounds a soul, touching it so deeply a permanent imprint is left behind. The first time true love is felt.

For Brycen Anderson, it didn’t happen as it does on TV or on the Hollywood screen. There was no fancy movie set, no cleverly written storylines or a multi-million dollar budget. No director taking control. No rehearsals, costumes or media fanfare. It was…

A passing glance…
A casual touch…
Simple.

Simple  A passing glance a casual touch edition by SJD Peterson Literature Fiction eBooks

"Simple" is an appropriate name for this book as it is simply one of the most hackneyed, trite, and cliched books I have read in quite a while. There is nothing new in this story - it's been told a thousand times before. The whole story seemed like a first-time author's attempt at gay adult romance. The characters are not developed very thoroughly - their backstories are shallow, at best. For adults, they behaved like adolescents. What bothered me most was that everything in this story is in the extreme. The characters are described as super handsome! Yet, terribly insecure! They have been dealt severe blows to their self-esteem because of awful previous lovers! (Their self-confidence is so low it's amazing that they can even allow themselves to be seen in public! Oh, I forgot, they are so good-looking!) The sex between the main characters is off the charts! (For two guys with self-esteem issues, they have no problem getting it on and having the best sex of their lives!) A misunderstanding almost ruins two lives! After only a month of dating, they are in love, move in together, and plan on spending the rest of their lives together! It's all too much.

Simple  A passing glance a casual touch edition by SJD Peterson Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

ok read. John and Brycen have both been dumped by partners they were in love with. When they run into one another they are both questioning their own worth and feel less than sure anyone else can find them worthy of love.
The book was ok, nothing special and definitely not worth anything above $2.99. I wouldn't recommended specially since the author has other better reads.
It was beautiful
You won't regret buying this one. I enjoy SJD Peterson and this one delivers. In fact, SJD is in my author top ten for m/m.
These guys drove me nuts! I so wanted them to get a clue and get it together.... but no, we have to work for it of course! Well written, a bit angsty, fun short story. With a great payoff at the end.
I love SJD Peterson's books they always tell a story sometimes sad sometimes happy and the characters are very 3 denominational and the way they love, hurt, cry or laugh you get sucked into their lives and go for the emotional ride. I loved this story because it is so what happens when you have been hurt and you don't trust the human race any longer, it's emotional being human. Very sexy sexy!
FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I I Am new to reading SJD'S Books but i fell in love with all the characters in all SJD's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I laughed and cried while I was at work listening to this book. ALSO A MUST READ "Plan B", 'Guards Of Fulsom Series", "Whispering Pines Ranch Series", I keep looking for more to add to these series. I want to laugh and cry again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
